Flower Decoration: Jaimala Stages, Wedding Cars & Floral Setups

Home  ›  Flower Decoration

Kauvery Events handles wedding flower decoration for jaimala stages, bridal cars, entry gates and mandaps, using fresh flowers, artificial ones or a mix of both. We work in Jammu and nine other cities. The design follows your theme and venue, and the price follows the final look you choose.

We started in 1998. Since then we’ve done small ceremonies at home and big banquet weddings, and the process has stayed simple. You tell us the flowers and colours you like. We source them, build the setup at the venue and take it down once the function is over.

Our flower decoration services

1. Jaimala Stage Decoration

The varmala is one of the most photographed moments of the day, so the stage gets a lot of our attention. Backdrops, arches, swings and floral aisles all come under this. See our designs for the decoration of the Jaimala stage.

2. Wedding Car Decoration

Flowers on the bonnet, roof and doors, fixed so they stay put on the road during the baraat. You’ll find our wedding car decoration options in real and artificial flowers here.

3. Floral Entries

Gates, flower tunnels and petal pathways. Floral entry decoration is the first thing your guests see, so we keep it in line with the rest of your theme.

4. Ceremony Florals

Mandap flower decoration, pillar wraps, haldi and mehndi setups, and table centrepieces. We keep one colour story across all of them, so your functions look connected.

Which flowers are best for wedding decoration?

There’s no single best flower. It comes down to the function, the month and the look you’re after. This is how the ones couples ask for most compare.

  • Marigold: Bright and traditional. Best season: October to March, available all year. Relative cost: Low.

  • Rose: Classic, lots of colour options. Best season: All year, freshest in winter. Relative cost: Moderate.

  • Orchid: Modern and premium. Best season: All year. Relative cost: High.

  • Carnation: Soft and ruffled, great as filler. Best season: All year, best in cooler months. Relative cost: Moderate.

  • Jasmine (mogra): Small white blooms, strong scent. Best season: March to July. Relative cost: Moderate.

  • Artificial: Same shape and colour throughout. Best season: Any season. Relative cost: One time cost, reusable.

Most of our clients pick one main flower and add one or two others around it. Marigold and rose is the safe traditional pairing. For a reception, orchids with carnations look more modern.

Fresh vs artificial flowers

We use both for wedding flower decoration. The blend of these flowers also help in the best jaimala stage decoration. Which one makes sense depends on where the décor sits and how long it has to hold up.

Fresh flowers

  • Look: Natural texture and depth

  • Fragrance: Yes

  • Durability: One day, droops in strong heat

  • Reuse: No

  • Works best for: Mandap, jaimala, varmala, close range photos

Artificial flowers

  • Look: Neat and uniform

  • Fragrance: No

  • Durability: Lasts for days

  • Reuse: Yes, across functions

  • Works best for: Outdoor day events, multi day functions, tall backdrops

Plenty of couples split it. Fresh flower decoration goes where guests get close, like the mandap and stage, and artificial flower decoration covers tall backdrops and spots that get direct sun.

How much does flower decoration cost?

Flower decoration cost depends on the details of the final appearance our clients need. Bride groom car decoration has multiple packages. Decorating one car is a very different job from dressing a mandap, an entry and a stage on the same day. So we don’t work from a fixed rate card. We look at what you want and quote for that. These are the things that usually change the figure.

We also received a query for plastic flower car decoration. Reach us and we can do this also at the best prices.

Send us your date, venue and a few reference photos if you have them. You’ll get an itemised quote, and nothing gets added later.

What it changes

  • Areas to decorate: One car or stage needs far less than a mandap, entry and stage together

  • Flower choice: Orchids and other premium blooms cost more than marigold or roses

  • How full the design is: A lush look uses many more stems than a minimal one

  • Season: Peak wedding dates push up fresh flower demand

  • Venue size and height: Bigger halls and tall backdrops need more flowers and more hands

Why choose Kauvery Events for flower & more decoration?

  • In the business since 1998. That’s over 25 years of Indian weddings, so the rituals and their timings are familiar ground for us.

  • Our own team. The people who design your décor are the same ones who install it at the venue.

  • Flowers bought for your date. Fresh setups use flowers sourced for your event, not leftover stock.

  • Setup on time. We plan the work around your muhurat and the venue’s access hours.

  • Clear quotes. Every item is listed before you confirm anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which flowers are used for wedding decoration?

Marigold, rose, orchid, carnation, jasmine and lily are the usual choices. Marigold shows up a lot at haldi and at entrances. Roses and orchids are popular on the stage, and jasmine is often used around the mandap for its scent. Most setups combine two or three of these.

2. Fresh vs artificial flowers: which is better?

It depends on the spot. Fresh flowers look and smell better up close, which is why they suit the mandap and stage. Artificial flowers don’t wilt in heat, so they work for outdoor day events and functions that run over several days. We usually suggest a mix once we’ve seen the venue.

3. How much does wedding flower decoration cost?

There’s no fixed price. It depends on the details of the final appearance you want: which areas you decorate, which flowers you pick, how full the design is, the date and the venue size. Message us on WhatsApp with your plan and we’ll send an itemised estimate.

4. How long does fresh flower decoration last?

Through the whole function, as long as it’s put up the same day. Roses and orchids stay firm for hours. Jasmine and some lilies droop faster when it’s warm. If your events run over two days, we refresh the main areas or use artificial flowers where that makes more sense.

5. How early should we book flower decoration for a wedding?

Four to eight weeks before the wedding is usually enough. If your date falls between November and February, book earlier, since that’s the busiest season. The extra time lets us lock the design, check flower availability and agree setup hours with the venue.

6. Do you provide flower decoration outside Jammu?

Yes. We cover nine other cities across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa and Uttarakhand. For weddings away from Jammu, we plan flower buying and transport in advance, so what reaches the venue matches the design you signed off.
